There are 2 ways to schedule an appointment for a patient, manually or by entering certain parameters and having the system show you different appointment dates and times to choose from.

There are several different ways to get to the appointment scheduling area:

  1. The Calendar screen

    2. The Patient's account

    3. The Patient's order (in new status)

Once you have reached the scheduling screen you will need to confirm the address of the appointment & select the appointment type (you can change the duration if necessary), optionally you can also attach a document from the patient's file to the appointment, as well as add any additional notes about the appointment. After you finish entering this information, select "Next" on the bottom right of the screen.

Scheduling a Manual Appointment

If you are scheduling a patient and you know the date and time needed, you can manually add the appointment to the calendar/team member.
Check the box labeled "Set appointment time manually", you can change the start date and time to your appointment specifics. You will have to choose the location of the appointment, whether that is the patient's address from the prior screen or a service center.

The field team box will show you who is available to place that appointment on.
Once selected, click "Next" on the bottom right.

You will now see the details, confirming everything you've just done, if correct, click "Complete" on the bottom right.

Scheduling an Appointment with Niko Health

Niko Health can help you find an appropriate appointment that works for you and the patient, it will take into account where the team member is compared to the appointment address and find different appointments available for you/them.
You will need to choose a date span for the appointment and you can also select the time of day. Check off where the appointment will be as well, whether it's Patient Address or Service Center.

If the patient is being setup at home, choose "Patient Address", then select "Search Appointments".

If the patient is being setup at a service center, choose "Patient Service Center", then select the appropriate service center and click "Search Appointments".

From here you will be able to see each day individually and each day will show you the different time slots available for each available team member. You can also choose based on Driving time from previous/next appointment, how many other appointments that team member has that day already, and the rating of the appointment.

Select your time slot and click "Next" on the bottom right.

You will now see the details, confirming everything you've just done, if correct, click "Complete" on the bottom right.
