Transferring Inventory

How to transfer inventory to team members or other locations.

You need inventory transferred to a team member or a different location you can do so through the inventory screen of Niko Health.


There are 2 different ways to transfer inventory:

  • Through the specific item being transferred (Only use this option if the QTY of the item being transferred is ONE)

  • Through the Inventory items screen

Make your way to the Inventory screen, and make sure you are viewing the "Items" tab.

Transferring a specific item.

Please note: This will move the entire QTY of the product available.

Find your item in the inventory list and click on it.

The details of the item will appear, including it's location. You will select the drop down under the location and select where you to transfer it to.

Transfer Location Options:

  • Warehouse: When selecting this option, you will need to specify which inventory location to transfer this item to under Location Name.

  • Team Member: When selecting this option, you will need to specify which team member to transfer the item to under Team Member name.

  • Patient: When selecting this option , you will need to specify which Patient you want the item transferred to under Patient Name.

Once you have made your transfer click Save and you are all set.

The item will now show the new location where it resides. 

Transfer Items Functionality

The recommended best practice for transferring inventory is by going to:

Inventory/Items

Here you can click on the +Button and select Transfer Items.

A new screen will appear where you can select the location FROM where inventory will be transferred. You can also skip this step by pressing the Enter button and the FROM location will be Any Location.

You can scroll through the options and search by name and select the location, then click OK.

Next you will need to find the location you want to transfer to, select search

Search for the warehouse, team member or patient and select OK once complete

The window will now prompt you to search for the inventory you would like to transfer.

You can search for the specific item, once found, select it and click OK

From here you will be able to see the item you added for transfer, you can also add additional items by selecting Search again and searching for the other item(s). Otherwise you can click on Review to go to the next step.

Now you will be shown the items you want to transfer, the current location and the transfer location. If everything looks good select Finish otherwise you can add more items.
