How to create a manual invoice

Normally invoices are automatically created once services are completed via the appointment or order, if necessary you can manually create an invoice for a patient.

From the patient's file or the Billing screen, select the blue plus sign on the top right and click "New Invoice".  (the only difference is that in the billing screen you will have to type in the patient's name, whereas creating an invoice from the patient's file will automatically pull that patient's info)

A new window will pop up, make sure your patient is correct, then you can select an order (if necessary) & and an appointment (if necessary). Then select Continue.

**IF you have chosen and order/appointment to go with the invoice, it will populate the items/services from them, if you dont select any orders/appointments, you will now have to manually enter each item**

Your invoice modify screen will now appear.
Ensure that all the information that generated in the top section is valid/correct

Now you can begin adding items/services to your invoice.
Enter the start & end dates of service, the place of service, & HCPCS code. 

Once you have entered/selected a HCPCS code it should populate the service description and advise you that there are price options to select.  Click on price options.

Select the appropriate price option for your patient and click submit on the bottom.

The select apply to confirm

It will have added the modifier and price for you.

If necessary, select the prior authorization number

If you need to add more HCPCS codes to the invoice, select "+Add Service Line" underneath the last line item and follow the process over again.

Once complete, be sure to click save on the bottom right, and your invoice will be created.
