How to remove equipment from a patient's file through inventory

To remove an item from a patient without completing and appointment, can be done by utilizing the inventory screen.
​**PLEASE NOTE: if you are not completing an appointment you must print a manual pickup ticket to have the patient sign (is accessible you can print it from the patient's file in the forms tab**

Be sure to make note of the serial number you wish to transfer/pickup.

Once you are in the inventory screen, search for your item

Click on your item

Normally you would change the status to inactive since you will have to clean or evaluate the equipment before it can be decided if it will be active again.

Input the reason for being inactive

Now you will want to move the location from the patient, to either a team member or a warehouse.

When you have chosen where you want the item to go, select update

The item will now show as inactive in inventory.

If the item is a rental, that you need to stop CLICK HERE.
