Copy a Previous Order

With this new feature you can quickly take any previous order within a patients record and copy it. Simply click on the Copy Order button on the order. When doing so it brings you to the summary step of the order where you can make edits as needed and you’re all set.

Step 1: Find the order you would like to copy either via the patient's file <Order tab OR by going to the ORDER CUE and searching for the order there. Once you find the order select it to open it up.

Step 2: Once the prior order is opened go to the blue plus sign and choose "COPY ORDER". This will copy the order you selected and bring to you to the Summary TAB or last step in creating an order.

Step 3: If you need to make changes you can do so by hitting the pencil and jumping back through the order flow to make any needed changes. If the order is good "as is" you can simply hit SAVE from the summary page to create the new copied order.

Step 4: Once you hit save the new order will be generated in the order cue and you can edit/complete the order as necessary. https://help.nikohealth.com/en/?q=orders

*Please be aware that when copying an order the system will still go through your payer rule checks and if anything is missing ie. authorization/rx expired the order will be flagged.
