Overview

Tasks allow you to set reminders and assign actions to other users. Because of this, there are several places to find and work with tasks. In this article we’ll go over the different places you can view tasks and then how to filter and search through tasks.

View All Tasks

To see all the tasks currently in NikoHealth, click the list icon in the top right to view your assigned tasks. This opens the Tasks page.

Select All Tasks from the tab options. You will now see all of the tasks currently in NikoHealth. Click on a task to open up its details.

See the Filter and Search Tasks sections to find out how to find specific tasks.

View Tasks Assigned to You

You can view tasks assigned to you two ways, from the top menu anytime or from your dashboard.

No matter where you are in NikoHealth, you can click the list icon in the top right to view your assigned tasks.

If on your dashboard, click My Tasks in order to view your assigned tasks. You’ll see a count of how many tasks are waiting for you.

By default the Tasks page will show all the tasks assigned to you. This is indicated by the Assigned to Me tab at the top of the page. Click on a task to open up its details.

See the Filter and Search Tasks sections to find out how to find specific tasks.

View Patient, Order, and Invoice Tasks

Patients, orders, and invoices can have tasks associated with them. To see the tasks specific to these items, first open up the record in question.

For example, open a patient profile. Click the Tasks tab along the top menu and a list of all associated tasks will open. Click on a task to open up its details.

There will be a similar Tasks tab inside an individual order and inside an invoice record.

You can also utilize the filter and search features to find tasks associated with different patients, orders, and invoices from all tasks. See the Filter and Search Tasks sections to find out how to find specific tasks.

Filter and Search Tasks

When viewing tasks there is a set of filters and searches at the top of the page. You can use these filters and search fields to find a specific task or narrow your results. Filters will show up at the top of the Task page.

The search and filter fields available will depend on where you are viewing tasks but the basic functionality remains the same.

Search Fields - Search fields allow you to type in the criteria you want to find. You can enter full or partial information. For example, you could search with the first few characters of a task title to see all matching tasks. To remove a search item, hit the X.

Dropdown Fields - Certain filters are based on predefined values. Use the dropdowns to select the appropriate value. To clear a filter, hit the X.

Some dropdowns will let you select multiple options. When there are checkboxes you can select multiple values. This means any task that matches one of the selected values will show up.

Advanced Filters - To see more filter options click the inverted triangle to the left of the filter section. A panel will open on the left with additional search and filter fields. Click the checkmark to apply your choices.

You can use multiple filters and search fields to narrow your results. Only results that match all of your filter criteria will be displayed.

To clear all filters and search criteria, click the circular arrow on the left.
