Orders in the Patient Profile

Understand, add, and manage Orders in the Patient Profile

Overview

While you're in the Patient Profile, you can create and manage Orders for that Patient. This includes viewing all existing Orders for the Patient (under the Orders tab), and creating new Orders for the Patient (using the blue NikoHealth action button).


Viewing and Managing Patient Orders in the Profile

A Patient's Orders can be viewed and managed in the Orders tab of the Patient Profile.

The Orders tab will show current Orders as well as completed Orders.

You can see an overview of an Order’s basic information in the Patient Orders tab. This snapshot includes the Order status, Items, and the Order number. Clicking on the Order number will bring you out of the Patient Profile and into that specific Order to see all the details.

On the right hand side, you can see when and who created the Order, as well as the last time it was modified (and by whom).

At the top, you can use the filters to locate specific Orders for this Patient by type, status, and date. You can also view the History of the Patient's Orders. This will open the Orders queue already filtered for the selected patient and for statuses of Cancelled or Completed.
