Overview

The Rental tab in the patient profile allows you to see any rentals associated with a patient. If a patient has no rental history, then the tab will not appear as an option. The tab provides an easy way to look up rental information or perform quick actions on a patient’s rental.

Depending on your screen size, you may have to click More and then select Rental in the patient profile.

In this article, we’ll quickly go over some actions you can take on rentals directly in the patient profile.

Find a Rental

You can use the search bar at the top of the page to find a rental by the service or HCPCS code associated with it.

You can also use the start and end dates of a rental to locate it with the From and To calendar filters.

To remove filters, click the circular arrow in the top left.

If you’re looking for an inactive or old rental, click History in the top right to see a record of past rentals.

Manage Rentals

Next to every rental in the patient profile are some quick actions you can take. To begin a rental, click Start Rental.

To stop a rental, click Stop Rental.

If you need to change rental information, click Edit to the right.

To see information about changes made to a rental, click Audit and a new window with the rental history will open.
