Overview

The patient Items tab displays current and past items associated with patient orders. You can use this tab to look up quick information about things a patient has needed in the past and what items they currently have orders for.

To view items associated with a patient, click the Items tab in a patient profile.

Items are broken down into four main sections:

  • Current Items - Items that have been transferred from inventory to the patient.

  • Inventoried Item History - All items that have been transferred to the patient from physical inventory including items that may have been returned or picked up.

  • Non-Inventoried Item History - Items that have been transferred to the patient that are not part of your physical inventory.

  • Dropship History - A list of items that have previously been drop shipped to a patient.

For the most part, the only thing to do in the items tab is view the recorded information. All item information is automatically populated when orders are associated with patient profiles. The few actions that can be taken on items are described in the section below.


Find Items

At the top of the Inventoried, Non-Inventoried, and Dropship sections of items, you can search and filter items.

The following fields can be used:

  • Search item - Enter the item name or description and select it from the dropdown.

  • HCPCS - Enter the item code and select it from the dropdown.

  • Status - Use the dropdown to select the current status of the item.

  • From and To - Use the calendar dates to select when the item was ordered for a patient.

You can remove individual filters with the X next to the field.

To clear all filters, click the circular arrow on the left.


Add Notes to Items

You can only add notes to Current Items. To add a note, click in the type your notes here… field and hit the Enter key to save them.

To edit a note, click the pencil icon.
