Overview
Playbooks will automatically appear on orders for products where a payer rule is defined. The playbook page located within the order will display the details of the playbook guiding users to complete and follow the outlined processes and requirements.
On the left hand side of the order, the playbook progress is always visible as you navigate throughout the order.
On the orders page, a playbook column is available where you can quickly view the playbook progress for an order.
Working within a playbook
Within the playbook of an order, the list of playbook tasks are displayed. For each task, a user can choose to complete the the task by checking the box. In the event you need to reopen the task within the playbook you can uncheck the box.
If a playbook task needs to be assigned out to a team member or team you can click the "assign task" icon in order to create the task. This will create a task that is visible in the task queue. Once the related task is completed, it will automatically complete the task within the playbook.
If a task within the playbook has a document requirement it will indicate to the end user to upload or attach the required document type.
To upload a new document, click "Upload". Please make sure that the document type selected when saving the file matches the required document type of the playbook. Once successfully uploaded the document will be saved within the patients documents as well as within the specific order. The related playbook task will be marked as completed.
If needed, you can view the uploaded document within the playbook by clicking directly on the document.
If you need to associate a document that is already saved with the patients documents, you can click the blue + button on the order and select New Document.
Here you can search and select an available document from the patient record. Please make sure that the selected document type matches the required document type of the playbook.
Once the document has been attached the related playbook task will be marked as completed.
