Overview

As an admin, you can add and manage the HCPCS and CPT codes available for users. In this article, we’ll go over how to create and manage HCPCS and CPT codes.


Locate HCPCS/CPT Codes

To get to your service center, click Management in the top menu.

In the left menu, click Billing Setup and select HCPCS/CPT in the submenu.

The HCPCS/CPT page will open. To find an existing HCPCS/CPT code, use the filters at the top of the page.

To remove a filter, hit the X in the field.

To clear all filters and search criteria, click the circular arrow on the right.

Once you’ve found the desired code, click to open the window.


Add a Code

Click the blue plus sign in the top right.

The New Code window will open. Enter the following information:

  • Code - The HCPCS/CPT code.

  • Short Description - Enter the title of the code.

  • Long Description - Describe the code in detail.

Click Create to save the new code.


Update a Code

Locate the desired account and click on it to open the Edit Description window.

You cannot edit the code number for HCPCS/CPT codes. You will need to delete the code and create a new one.

Update the Short Description or Long Description as needed. Any changes will automatically update existing records and be applied to future ones.

Click Save to keep your changes.


Delete a Code

Removing a code cannot be undone. Use caution before deleting a code.

Locate the desired code and hover. Click the trashcan icon to the far right. The code will be permanently deleted.
