Key Features
Key Features
Information in Your Words
Notes allow you to enter whatever information you need and associate it with patient profiles, orders, invoices, inventory items, and tasks.
Permanent Log
Notes can only be deleted by users with designated permissions. Most users will not be able to delete notes, so you can always go back and see what you and others have recorded.
Using Notes
Notes are best used to set yourself a reminder of important information or to inform other people of what’s going on with the associated record. Notes can convey as much or as little information as you need! Below we’ll go over a couple of scenarios that notes can be used for.

Track Important Events
Use notes to keep track of things such as an important phone call with a patient or progress on filling a difficult order so that you always remember what’s happened.
Communicate with Team Members
Adding a note allows another team member who opens the associated patient profile, order, invoice, inventory item, or task to know what’s been going on without having to contact you directly. However, if you want a team member to take action, you should look at assigning a task instead.
Info at a Glance
Use notes as a quick reference for important information. For example, maybe you know that a patient already has approval for certain types of items. Make a note in the patient profile so that you know as soon as you open their profile for the next order. For patient profiles, inventory items, and orders you can even add a Subject to a note, giving it a category tag that makes it easy to see what the note is about at a glance.
