Overview
Tasks are your go-to tool for staying organized and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks in NikoHealth. You can use tasks as reminders or to assign and notify a user to complete an action.
The Tasks tab in the patient profile allows you to see any tasks that are associated with a patient. The tab provides an easy way to look up tasks and perform quick actions on patient-related tasks.
Tasks can be linked to one or more patients. This association also lets you quickly jump to the patient's profile and ensures the task is visible to anyone viewing the patient's profile.
View Patient Tasks
To view tasks associated with a patient, navigate to the "Patients" tab, and click on the specific Patient. This will bring you to the Patient's profile. To view the Tasks assocated with this Patient, click on the "Tasks" tab.
When you open the Tasks tab you’ll see a list of all tasks associated with that patient. For information on how to find a specific task, see the article Find and View Tasks.
You can filter the list of tasks in this Patient Profile by various data elements.
Note: By default, a filter is applied to the task list so that only tasks with an "Open" status are shown. To remove this or any filters, click the "X" next to the filter.
Patient Task Details
Each task listed includes key information about what the task is, who created it, its status, and more.
You can hover over the gray info button in the Task Description to learn more about the task.
To help you keep tasks organized and draw attention to urgent matters, tasks have statuses and priorities. Statuses let you know the life cycle of a task, and where it is in the process of being completed. Priorities tell you how urgently a task should be completed.
