Overview
Zebra printers are commonly used for printing barcode and shelf labels due to their speed, reliability, and support for ZPL (Zebra Programming Language). This guide will walk you through how to set up your Zebra printer so your labels print correctly.

Before you Begin
You should have already configured your product labels in NikoHealth's application settings before following this guide to Zebra printer setup. Visit our help article on Setting up and Printing Product Labels for more information on how to do this. Be sure that:
Your product labels are already configured in Application Settings
You’ve selected a ZPL format in your Product Label settings
You have access to install software on your computer
Install Zebra Setup Utilities
Download Zebra Printer Setup Utilities from Zebra’s website.
Unzip the downloaded file and run installation.
Follow the prompts in the Zebra Setup Utilities- InstallAware Wizard to complete the installation.

Once installed, this utility will help your computer recognize and configure the printer.
Follow the prompts in the System Prepare Wizard to install your Printer Driver.
Connect and Detect Your Printer
Connect your Zebra printer (USB or network). Once connected, open Zebra Setup Utilities. Click Refresh Printer List.
After refreshing, your printer should now appear.

Zebra Browser Print
Zebra Browser Print allows NikoHealth to communicate directly with your printer from your browser.
Install Zebra Browser Print
Download Zebra Browser Print from the Zebra website. The site includes a user guide that contains detailed instructions on how to download. After you successfully download and launch Zebra Bowser Print, you should see the Zebra icon in your system tray.
Configure Browser Print Settings
After successfully installing Zebra Browser Print, you'll need to configure the settings.
Right-click the Zebra Browser Print icon in your system tray and select Settings. A pop-up will appear requesting access to any connected Zebra devices.
Choose Yes.
This adds NikoHealth to the list of approved applications that can send print jobs to your Zebra printer.
Test Your Printer
To confirm everything is working correctly, use the Zebra Browser Print test page included with the installation. In Windows, the test page can usually be located at:
C:/Program Files (x86)/Zebra Technologies/Zebra Browser Print/Documentation/ BrowserPrint.js-3.1.250/sample/index.html
In the "Sample" folder, you will find a sample test page and supporting files. These files must be delivered from a web server to function properly, and will not work
opening them locally in a web browser. Once delivered from a web server, a page will display that supplies a number of buttons demonstrating basic functionality of the Browser Print application and API.
Click on Send ZPL Label to test printing a label to your newly installed Zebra printer. If the label prints successfully, your printer is ready to use.
