Demographics in the Patient Profile

Understand, add, and manage Demographics in the Patient Profile

Updated over a week ago

Overview

The Demographics tab on the Patient Profile contains basic information about a Patient, including their address, emergency contacts, medical release information, and more.

If you manually created a Patient, the demographic page will display all of the information entered during that creation process. If you created a patient from a fax, you'll need to add additional demographic information here as you receive it.

Edit Demographics

To edit a Patient’s demographic information, open their Patient Profile and navigate to the Demographics tab. In the upper right corner, there's a button for Edit Demographics.

Support for International Addresses & Phone Numbers

International addresses and phone numbers can now be saved in the Patient profile.

When you’re entering or editing contact information anywhere in the demographics section, the address and phone number fields now support non-U.S. formats, including international postal codes, provinces, and extended address lines.

For addresses, the country selector includes a comprehensive list of global options.

For phone numbers, you can choose from a list of country calling codes and then enter the phone number. NikoHealth will use the country code to validate the number you enter based on the country-specific format.
